HEN Commander Bingen led a field of trotters home at Alexandra Park on the concluding day of the Auckland Christmas carnival by three lengths he tramped the two -mile journey in 4.44 2-5. In placing the Southern squaregaiter on the end of the Provincial Trot next week (4.47 mark), Mr. Paul has invited Bill Lowe to visit Epsom, but owners of some of the others may take it that they would be better at home.
