ART UNION WINNERS
PICTURE PRIZES WON DRAWN LAST EVENING Tho drawing- was held last evening for the 15 prizes in the art union conducted by the Society of Arts in connection with its annual exhibition. The total value of the prizes, all of which were pictures, was £l7l. and about 1,400 tickets were sold. Dr. E. B. Gunson. president of the society, presided over the drawing, which took place under police supervision. Two women from the audience were asked to help, one in drawing the tickets ancl the other in drawing the order of the prizes. At the thirteenth draw the winner of the first prize was announced.
