IMPERIAL WAR GRAVES
MR. A. K. VICKERY APPOINTED Formerly secretary and later deputydirector of works of the Imperial War Graves Commission on Gallipoli, Mr. Allan K. Vickery', brother of the Rev. H. K. Vickery, of Auckland, who ha«? been in Australia for the last three and a-half years, has been appointed to the permanent staff of the. Eastern District of the Imperial War Graves Commission. This Eastern District supervises the various branches of the Commission working in Italy, Salonica, Turkey. Syria, Palestine. Mesopotamia and Egypt, and Mr. Vickery will have his headquarters in Cairo. He sailed, with Mrs. Vickery, for Egypt by the Esperance Bay' on May 25.
