SEQUEL TO QUAKE
CHANGES IN WATER SPRINGS (From o\ur Ouslt Correspondent) JIARTON, Wednesday. It is now disclosed that the earthquake of a few weeks back affected many water springs in the Hunterville district, several which had hitherto been strong becoming weak, while several small springs found strength as the result of the shake. On Mr. A. G. property a | strong spring which was harnessed : practically stopped running, while on i Mr. Lloyd Hammond's farm a harnessed spring transferred its energies |to a hitherto weak spring som- ! chains away.
