BOARD’S ASSESSMENTS MADE The One Tree Hill Road Board notified the Auckland and Suburban Brainage Board a.t its meeting last evening that it accepted the board's conditions regarding the inclusion in the drainage district of an area of approximately 21 acres in tpe vicinity of the Harp of Erin. The expenditure of £16,900 out of loan money, and of £39,976 for the payment of interest and sinking fund loans were budgeted for. It was reported that the general account for maintenance, etc., had a credit balance of £4,624 12s 3d, and thus the additional sum required from the contributing local authorities was £35.351 7s 9d. The assessments made were: Auckland City. £26,740 19s Id; Blount Bier.. £3,298 3s Sd: Mount Albert, £3,170 10s lOd: Newmarket, £937 -« 7d; One Tree Hill, £1,204 11s 7d.
