OTOKIA REPORTS.—-The Union Company has received wireless advice from the tanker Otokia, bound front San Pedro to 'Wellington, stating that she expects to arrive there this morning. The vessel brings fuel oil for discharge into • the company's tanks at Miramar. PORT NICHOLSON TO LOAD.—The Commonwealth and - Dominion Line steamer Port Nicholson is scheduled to reach Auckland from Australia next Tuesday to load refrigerated and general cargo for England. The vessel will -also load at New Plymouth and Wellington. She is to be dispatched from Wellington for London on June 20. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company will be the local agents. PORT AUCKLAND’S ITINERARY.— The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland is to sail for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin at 10 o’clock this .evening, in continuation of her voyage from New York. After completion of discharge at Dunedin the vessel will load for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain at Port Chalmers, Bluff. Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is to clear Wellington for - London on June 29.

KAWAU DELAYED.—Owing to rough weather the Northern Company’s steamer Kawau has been delayed at Mangawai. She is now due at Auckland tonight and js to leave again at 10 a.m. tomorrow for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Little and Big Omaha.

GOLDEN STATE DUE TOMORROW.— Due m the stream at daylight tomorrow from the Pacific Coast ports, the O. and o. Line s steamer Golden State will land 16 cases of explosives at Orakei anchorbefore coming alongside the Prince's Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo under the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane. Later the vessel proceeds to Wellington, Timaru and Dunedin to complete discharge.

SUSSEX TO BE REPLACED, The Union Company's chartered Indian ti ader Sussex did not complete cargo operations at King's Wharf yesterday, as was expected. She is now to sail at S o clock this evening for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, in continuation of her voyage from Eastern ports. After completion of discharge at Dunedin, the vessel will be withdrawn fnmi the seryice. She will be replaced by the British India Navigation Company's 9,800-ton steamer Narbada, which has been chartered by the Union Company and will load at Calcutta and other Eastern ports during July and August for New Zealand.

KARTIGI FROM PORT KEM3LA.— Shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday the Union Company’s cargo steamer Kartigi arrived at Wellington from Port Kenibla. The vessel loaded at Sydney, Newcastle and Port Kembla, and left the lastnamed port at 4 p.m. last Tuesday. The Kartigi experienced bad weather on her run across the Tasman, very heavy seas being experienced during the last two days of her voyage. Captain W. Whitefield is in command of the vessel, and lias associated with him the following officers: Chief. Mr. A. E. Rawlins; second. Mr. C. Robb; third, Mr. J. 11. Ibbotson; chief engineer, Mr. A. Lang; second Mr. H. W. Insley; third, Mr. A. G. Weld: chief steward, Mr. IT. Grey; wireless officer, Mr. F. Logan. The Kartigi leaves Wellington at noon tomorrow for Gisborne and Auckland to 'complete discharge, and is due here about Sunday.

KINGS BIRTHDAY.—Owing to Monday being the King’s Birthday several alterations have been made by the Northern Company in the running of their steamers during the week-end. On Saturday and Monday two steamers will leave Auckland for all ports on YVaiheke Island. There will be no vessel for Silverdale and way ports on Monday. The Claymore sails from Auckland at 9.30 p.m. on Sunday for Whangarei, and leaves Onerahi on Monday evening for Auckland after the Hikurangi football tournament. The Taniwha leaves Auckland as usual on Sunday at 5.30 p.m. for Paeroa. and clears Paeroa at 1.30 p.m. on Monday for Auckland. The Rangitoto sails from Auckland a* 9 p.m. on Monday for Thames. The Clansman resumes running next week and sails at 4 p.m. on Tuesday for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mango* The Kawau leaves Auckland next Tuesday at 4 p.m. for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai. The Apanui leaves Auckland at midnight on Monday for Mercury Bay, Tairua and Whangamata. Cargo for these ports will be received on Saturday. The Ngapuhi sails from Onehunga at 3 p.m. next Tuesday for New Plymouth. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.— The Waitemata, from British Columbia ports is due at San Francisco today, thence May 31 to Los Angeles to complete loading for Auckland. Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She will clear Los Angeles on June 4, and is due at Auckland on June 29. The Waihemo, from Apia, was due at Vancouver on Monday, and proceeds thence to San ‘Francisco, Los Angeles, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Bluff. The Hauraki, which left Melbourne at 4 p.m. on Friday last, was due at Adelaide on Sunday and proceeds thence on Wednesday to Vancouver direct. The Waiotapu will leave Sydney tomorrow for Fanning Island, thence 1o Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles to load for Melbourne and Sydney. The Wairuna, from Napier arrived at Lyttelton on Sunday, thence to Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth, and proceeds thence to Auckland and Vancouver. The Waikawa, en route from Pacific Coast, left Apia on Saturday for Melbourne and Sydney, and proceeds thence to Vancouver via Suva. BARON MACLAY AT KING’S. —An arrival in the stream at 6.30 a.m. today was the Baron Line steamer Baron Maclay with a full cargo of sulphur from Galveston, Texas. She later berthed at King’s Wharf. The vessel loaded her cargo of 8,300 tons of sulphur in the quick time of 17 4 hours and cleared Galveston on April 21. The Canal was cleared on April 29 and a direct passage was then made to Auckland. The vessel passed within sight of Tahiti and enjoyed good weather until she came into New Zealand waters. Yesterday morning she suffered the full force of a severe south-easterly gale, and . was hove to for some hours about 100 miles east of Cuvier Island. She was able to resume her voyage in the afternoon. Captain D. McDonald commands the Baron Maclay and he has with him the folowing officers; Chief officer, Mr. .T. W. Laidlaw: second, Mr. A. Campbell; third, Mr. .T. Cadwallader: chief engineer. Mr. Mclntvre: second, Mr. Winning; third, Mr. Elbert: wireless onerator, Mr. Gemmel. With the excention of six apprentices the Baron Maclay is manned throughout by Lascars. Messrs. R. Millar and Company are the vessel’s local agents, and they hope to dispatch her tomorrow night for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, New Plymouth and Wanganui in that order to complete discharging. After that the Baron Maclay is to proceed to Port Kembla for bunkers.

MAKURA FROM SAN FRANCISCO.Due at Wellington on Monday from San Francisco and way ports, the R.M.s. Makura leaves again at 6 p.m. nex; Wednesday for Sydney, according to advice received by the local office of the Union Company. KAPONGA FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA.—Due at Wellington today from Adelaide. via Edith burg and Melbourne, the Union Company’s steamer Kaponga leaves again at noon tomorrow for Auckland and Portland to complete her discharge. She is expected here on Sunday. WAIPAHI SAILS NOON TOMORROW. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the Island fruit steamer Waipahl is to be dispatched at noon tomorrow for Rarotonga, Mauke. Atiu, Manga ia and Aitutaki to load again for Auckland. REMUERA SAILS SATURDAY. —Xow at Auckland loading the Nev; Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera leaves on Saturday for Napier, thence Lyttelton and Wellington, to Fill up. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on June 22 for Southampton and London, via Panama. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Ulimaroa leaves Wellington at noon on Friday for Sydney, and the Marama and the Maunganui both clear Sydney at 3 p.m. the same day for Auckland and Wellington respectively. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. CAMBRIDGE TO COMPLETE. —Leaving Wellington this afternoon for Napier, and Auckland, the Federal steamer Cambridge is due here on Sunday to complete hex* loading for Jlopie. She is scheduled to leave Auckland finally on June 6 for London and West Coast ports of England, via Panama. The New Zealand Shipping Company will act as the local agents. CANADIAN BRITISHER TO FILL UP. —The local office of the Canadian National Steamships Line has been advised that the Canadian Britisher is to leave Wellington tomorrow for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday to fill up. She is expected to sail finally from this port on June 4 for New York, Boston and Montreal, via Panama. MAI MO A REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by A. S. Paterson and Company, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Maimoa is expected to arrive at Auckland on Monday evening next from Liverpool. The^ vessel is bringing general cargo from A\ est of England ports for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. HUNTINGDON FURTHER DELAYED. —Advice has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Federal steamer Huntingdon has been further delayed at Gisborne and cannot leave before tomorrow for Auckland, where she completes halloa ding. It is now hoped to dispatch the vessel finally from this port on June 0 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama. RUAPEHU’S PROGRAMME. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu is to leave Lyttelton for Auckland tomorrow to continue unloading general merchandise from London. The vessel is due on Sunday, and after a quantity of cargo has been unloaded at this port she will go to New Plymouth to complete discharge and also to commence loading for her homeward voyage. Her other loading ports are Wanganui, Timaru and Wellington. From Wellington she is to sail on her return voyage to Southampton and London on June 20.
