AKARANA LADIES’ CLUB The best scores In the Canadian foursomes match played by members of the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club are as follow: Misses Floyd and Young, 111, 32—70; Mrs. England and Mrs. Cox, 114, 34—80; Misses Peet and Todd, 114, 32—82; Mrs. McCarthy and Mrs. Darrach, 109, 27—82. The inter-club match played between the Waitemata and Akarana women at Waitemata resulted in a win for Waitemata. Following are the results, Waitemata players being mentioned first:— Mrs. Hay beat Miss Darrach, 5 and 4; Mrs. Atkinson and Mrs. McCarthy, all square; Mrs. Clouston beat Miss M. Peet, 2 up; Mrs. Walsh beat Mrs. Preston, 1 up; Mrs. Nevill beat Mrs. Fearnley, 5 and 4; Mrs. Hogan and Mrs. Cox, all square; Miss Nevill beat Mrs. Ellis, 4 up; Mrs. Lewin lost to Miss T.
