YORKSHIRE-AFRICAN GAME DRAWN RESULTS OF THE MATCHES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 9.3 G a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. At cricket, Yorkshire, in its first innings against South Africa, made 338 (Mitchell 126). South Africa, in its second innings, made 220 for seven wickets (Cameron 85, Morkel 68). The match was drawn. In county cricket, Nottingham, in its first innings against Middlesex made 246 (YVhysall 124). Bowling. Haig took four wickets for 37. Nottingham, in its second innings, made 179. Bowling, Robbins took six wickets for 53. Middlesex, in its first innings, made 375 (Killick 71). In its second innings, Midldesex made 51 for one wicket, and won by nine wickets.

Derby, in its first innings against Sussex, made 306 (Storer 119), and in its second innings 215 (Storer 100). Bowling, Parks took four wickets for 32, and Bowley four for 66. Sussex, in its first innings, made 223 (Duleepsinjbi 82). Bowling, Worthington took eight wickets for 29. Sussex, in its second innings, Townsend took four wickets for 44. Derby won by 135 runs.

Nortliants, in its first innings against Kent, made 117. Bowling, Wright took five -wickets for 34, Freeman four for 22. Northants in its second innings made 163. Bowling, Wright took four wickets for 56, and Freeman four for SS. Kent, in its first innings, made 261. Bowling, Jupp took five wickets .for 60. Kent, in its second innings, made 21 for no wickets. Kent won by 10 wickets.

Surrey, in its first innings against Lancashire, made 102. Bowling, Macdonald took four wickets for 17, and R. Tyldesley five wickets for 31. Surrey, in its second innings, made 212 (Wilson 76). Bowling, Tyldesley took six wickets for 54. Lancashire, in its first innings, made 425 for seven wickets, and declared (Halliday not out 109, Watson 106). Lancashire won by an innings and 111 runs.

Gloucestershire, in its first innings against Hampshire, made 429 (Dipper 137). Bowling, Kennedy took six wickets for 122. Hampshire, in its first innings, made lio. Bowling, Goddard took five wickets for 35. Hampshire folloYAjed on, and in its second innings made 190. Bowling, Goddard took five wickets for 76, and Parker four for 58. Gloucester won by an innings and 129 runs.

Warwick, in its first innings against Glamorgan, made 125, and in its second innings 259. Glamorgan, in its first innings, made 247, and in its second 40. Bowling, Foster took six wickets for 11 runs. Warwick won by 79 runs. Leicester, in its first innings against Worcester, made 324 runs, and in its second innings 197 for seven wickets, declared. Worcester, in its first innings, mad© 260, and in its second 8G for four wickets. Leicester won on the first innings.
