DEATH OF EARL’S SON
TAKEN BY PNEUMONIA AT ROME British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Monday. The Hon. Mervyn Herbert, youngest son of the fourth Lord Carnarvon, died at Rome, aged 47, from pneumonia following malaria, which he contracted on a journey from Albania, where he was a well-known and frequent visitor.
