ARMIES NOW MARCHING ON KANDAHAR AMANULLAH AT BOMBAY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. DELHI. Monday. The armies of Bacchasakao, the rebel king, are sweeping Afghanistan. They have captured Mazaisharif and are marching on Kandahar, Amanullah’s capital, which is expected to fall shortly. In the last battle preceding his flight, Amanullah lost nearly 3,000 men. The ex-King Amanullah and his party passed through Delhi and arrived at Bombay today. They are to leave on Wednesday for Italy. They travelled in a fleet of motorcars from Kandahar. There were nearly 20 cars altogether. They contained no baggage, but more than 20 bags of money.
