NO TROOPS MOVING
INDIAN REVOLT RUMOURS DENIED OFFICIAL STATEMENT MADE (Australian, and N.Z. Press AssociationJ DELHI, Monday. An official statement issued on behalf of the Indian Government says there is no trtith in rumours that movements of troops are taking place in Northern India. Although revolutionary activities are occurring the country is not on the verge of a revolution, as has been suggested in some quarters.
No special precautions have been taken for the protection of the Viceroy, Lord Irwin, or of Governors.
