PINK AND WHITE
MAID IN ROSE GOWN ATTENDS DAINTY BRIDE EVENING WEDDING ANDREWS—DIGBY-SMITH A very pretty wedding took place on Saturday evening, when Merrial, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Digby-Smith, of Dunedin, was married to Maurice, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrews, of Ponsonby. The Rev. N. P. Larsen officiated. The bride, who was given away by All*. T. Merrifield. of the H.M.S. Diomede, looked charming in a gown of ivory satin beaute, with an overdress of cream silk lace. Her long sweeping train, lined with pink satin and ornamented with pearls and diamante, hung gracefully from her shoulders. Her beautifully embroidered tulle veil was arranged round the head with a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of pink and white flowers. She was attended by Mary Andrews, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a goWn of salmon pink crepe sylvia, and carried a shower bouquet of pink flowers. Little Sylvia McKay, who acted as flower girl, looked sweet in a frock of lavender crepe de chine, with insets of silk lace. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. P. Griffin, of the H.M.S. Diomede. A guard of honour was formed by friends of the bridegroom from the H.M.S- Diomede. A reception was held at the residence of the bridegroom's parents. The room was decorated in white streamers, and a large wedding bell hung from the ceiling over the heads of the bride and bridegroom. The guests, who numbered between 50 and 60, were received by Mrs. Andrews, who -wore a gown of figured crepe sylvia, and carried a shower bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers.
