AUCKLAND POWER BOARD
RE-ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN The adjourned annual meeting of the Auckland Power Board was concluded yesterday, the chairman, Mr. w. J. Holdsworth, presiding. Mr. Holdsworth was re-elected chairman for the ensuing year on the motion of Mr. S. Harbutt, seconded by Mr. S. I. Crookes. In expressing appreciation of his ! re-election, Mr. Holdsworth referred to the board’s sound financial position. He said Arapuni power would soon be available, but it was not possible to i say how the supply would meet ex- ! pectations until a trial had been made Mr. Harbutt was re-elected deputy- 1 chairman.
