THRONG OF DANCERS The Pirr.te Shippe. Milford, proved very popular on Saturday evening, when the Versatile Pirates’ Orchestra played a bright selection of dance music to a large and appreciative crowd of dancers. Among those, present were: Mrs. F. A. Chapman, in cream chenille embossed georgette with plain cream georgette skirt. Mrs. S. Levin, whose frock was of pastel pink georgette. Mrs. E. MacDonald, wearing lilac crepe j do chine and silver lacc. ! Mrs. D. Thomson, who was in a gown ! of amber embossed georgette. ! Miss N. Turner, wearing leaf green ; taffeta with petalled hen;. Miss G. Saunders, whose frock was of turquoise blue. Miss Pickworth in rose pink crepe dc chine. Miss Stella Marks, whose frock was of orchid georgette and lilac taffeta. A BLACK LACE GOWN Miss M. Marks, who had chosen black lace over satin charmeuse. Miss Edna Taylor, wearing cameo pink taffeta with gold relief. Miss T. Hodgson, whose frock was of bronze ring velvet. Miss D. Weingott, palest begonia georgette embroidered with silver sequins. Miss Marjorie Woolley, wearing a gros grain taffeta frock of sage green and amethyst. Miss E. Davis, in lido blue crepe de chine. IN LIPSTICK RED Miss F. Monrad, who wore a striking gown of lipstick red lace and velvet. Miss E. Purdy (Napier), whose frock was of cameo pink georgette and taffeta. Miss Anderson, wearing a frock of emerald green georgette. Miss D. Rosenfeldt, in palest flesh pink chiffon. Miss Marie Colson, in leaf green georgette. WEARING MIST BLUE CHIFFON Miss P. Buddie, whose Crock of mist blue chiffon dipped gracefully to the back. Miss J. Ilarapson, in black ring velvet and georgette. Miss McArthur, wearing an orchid georgette frock with beaded cyclamen embroideries. Miss McConnell, in black georgette. Miss Edwards whose frock was of blush rose chiffon. Miss Anderson, in palest primrose taffeta with petalled hem. A MANDARIN COAT Miss L. Eide, who wore a smart little mandarin coat over her peach-tinted georgette frock. Miss Rose Wake, in duchess blue and flesh pink beaded georgette. Miss A. Taylor, wearing black chiffon relieved with silver. Miss J. Carter, whose ivory georgette frock was embossed with pink and silver.
