BIRTHDAY DANCE FOR MANGERE GIRL
ARTISTIC DECORATIONS A delightful birthday dance was given by Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Trayes, of “Highdene,” Mangere, on Friday evening, for their daughter Joyce. The dance room decorations . were most artistic, and the enclosed porticos made ideal lounges. Mrs. Trayes received her guests in a draped frock of black silk net, heav.ily embossed in gold. Miss Joyce Trayes wore silver and cyclamen lame, with diamante trimmings, and a cyclamen shawl. The guests included: Mrs. G. L. Taylor, Mrs. M. G. Masefield. Mrs. G. Hogan, Miss Marjorie Allison. Miss Margaret Segar, Miss Jula Rennie, Miss Patty Masefield. * Miss Adela Hogan, Miss Rae Hogan, Miss Dorothy Court, Miss Isobel Alexander, Miss Kathleen Bates, Miss Kathleen Milne, Miss IJna Moore, Miss Hilda Gorrie, Miss Isabel Skegg.
