UNCONSCIOUS ON ROAD
WOMAN CYCLIST INJURED A young woman, Mrs. Mary Aitkenhead, who resides on Great South Road, Wiri, was found lying on the side of the concrete strip, unconscious, at Wiri yesterday afternoon. She was brought to the surgery of Br. J. J. Valentine, Papatoetoe. It was found I she was suffering from concussion and • shock, and after receiving medical at- ! tention, she was conveyed to the Aucki land Hospital by the St. John Ambuli ance. Miss Aitkenhead was cycling along l the Great South Road at Wiri, and ran off the concrete into a small excavaj tion. which caused her to fall off the bicycle, and strike her head on the ! concrete. She was picked up by a passing motorist, and brought tu Papa- , loetoe.
