COMMITTEE SET W MR. PAGE CHAIRMAN Press Association WELLINGTON. Frida*. The personnel of the advisory ooamittee set up under the Cinematograph Films ‘Act passed by Parham** last year, is announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. P. A. De la Perrelle, as follows: Messrs. E. Page, S.M., chairman; A- G. McGowan and B. Y. M&rsehat (representing licensed renters); and E. J. Righton and A. J. McCurdy (representing licensed exhibitors). Mr. R. Girling Butcher, deputy-chief inspector of explosives, of the Internal Affairs Department, has been appointed secretary to the committee. The purpose of the committee is to obtain the combined opinions of tf cinematograph interests, as well as those of film renters, in regard to the operation of new legislation, and to advise the Minister of Internal Affair on problems arising in respect to the administration of the Act. The appointments are to be effective for six months.
