SURPRISE PARTY
MUSIC AND GAMES A most enjoyable surprise party was ffiyen to Miss Winnie Nomrn by her friends at her home in Mount Eden on Wednesday last. Musical items and games formed the greater part of the programme. Mrs. N’omm received the wearing a of petunia bengaline. Miss was charmingly dressed in blue taffeta inset with silver lace. Among those present were: wrs. Barnes, in a gown of fawn jersey cloth. Miss S. Donnell, in an almond green and silver frock. Miss D. Smith, who wore cream lace °ver pink silk. Miss O. smith who chose green georand lace. Miss M. Collis, in a flame georgette •rock. Miss B. Shuff, who wore apricot crepe de chine. Miss A. Steel, in apple green crepe do chine. Miss G. Hunt, in rose pink crepe de chine. Miss E. Nicholls, wearing pale green Scorgettc. Miss V. Donnell, who wore apricot crepe de chi:i< , Miss E. II .U w.aring rose and gold lame. Miss F. Holt, in opal blue mpe d--<dh:ie and si!\ D.-o Mis S M. Naylor, in crocus mauve silk °repe. Miss p. Craig, in Petty blue crepe d< chine.
