MARTYRED FOR FAITH
MANY ENGLISH TO BE BEATIFIED GREAT CATHOLIC CEREMONY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association J Reed. 12.36 p.m. ROME, Friday. The Vatican lias decided during the present year to beatify 250 English people who were martyred for the Roman Catholic faith, mostly in Elizabeth’s reign. It will be the largest beatifictaion ceremony in the history of the Roman Catholic Church.
