The Science Congress this evening attended a reception held at the palace, which was a brilliant gathering cf foreign sceintists and prominent colonials. The Dutch Governor-General Conversed with many foreigners. The Congress represents 14 constituent countries and ten other countries, and at present there are 26 participants. Excursions are being inade, with one cteamer for the biologists and one for the geologists, under competent leaders, visting the islands in the neighbourhood.
