TRINITY SOCIAL CLUB FANCY DRESS AT OTAHUHU There was a large gathering of members and friends of the Otahuhu Holy Trinity Social Club at the plain and fancy dress dance held in the Otahuhu Public Hall on Tuesday evening. The hall had been prettily decorated with greenery and streamers, and made a picturesque setting for the large gathering of quaintly-f rocked dancers. The club’s orchestra, under the leadership of ALrs.\ Andrew, provided a pleasing programme of dance music. Mr. H. Lovell fulfilled the duties of master of ceremonies. For the non-dancers a progressive “500” tournament was the centre of interest, and after a series of keenlycontested games, the winners were Mrs,, Burnett and Air. H. Whyte. The winners of the fancy dress competitions were: Aliss P. Walker, most original lady’s costume; Air. Cochrane, most original men’s costume; Aliss Greenwood. best lady’s fancy dress; Air. J. "Walker, best men’s fancy dress. Supper was served by members of the committee.
