TOOK DRINK OF POISON
SICK MAN’S MISTAKE ONLY SLIGHTLY HARMED Mistaking a bottle of embrocation for one of cough mixture an invalid, Mr. William Francis Finlay, aged 55, of 15 Vernon Street, Freeman’s Bay, took a drink of the poison. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from a mild form of poisoning, but his condition was not serious and this morning it was reported that he was almost recovered.
