The Canadian Britisher is to be dispatched from "Wellington today for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete the discharge of her Canadian cargo. The Devon was to have arrived at New Plymouth today from Timaru. AELYBRYN LEAVES NAURU.—CabIe advice has been received by Messrs. Henderson and Maefarlane that the Aelvbrvn left Nauru Island yesterday with 7.500 tons of phosphates for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. PORT DARWIN LEAVES.—With a large quantity of New Zealand produce the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin was dispatched from Auckland for New York, Boston, Halifax and London yesterday afternoon. PORT CAMPBELL DELAYED.—The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Campbell was delayed in loading at New Plymouth on Tuesday owing to rain. She is due at Wellington next Sunday, and will sail finally from there on May 22 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Montevideo. NIAGARA’S ITINERARY.—The Union Steamship Company advises that the Royal Mail liner Niagara is expected at Suva at 6 o’clock tomorrow morning. She is to leave there at noon for Auckland, and is due here on Monday morning. At 4 p.m. on Tuesday the vessel is to bo dispatched for Sydney. MANUKA LEAVES MELBOURNE. — Cable advice has been received that the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka left Melbourne at 10.30 a.m. Tuesday for Wellington, where she is due next Sunday. The vessel leaves Wellington next Tuesday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne. PORT HUNTER’S PASSENGERS.— The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Hunter, which was to have left Port Chalmers at daybreak today for London, via Montevideo, was to have taken the following passengers: Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, Miss Fisher, Mr. H. Brown, Miss D. Blacks tock and Miss Thorn. Dr. Fisher is proceeding with the vessel as ship’s surgeon. PORT AUCKLAND ARRIVING.— Messrs. Heather Roberton and Co. have received radio advice from the Port Auckland that she expects to arrive in the stream at Auckland at daybreak on Wednesdav next. The vessel is en route from New York She has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. In addition to cargo from New York the vessel has a quantity of basic slag from Antwerp. RAISDALE FROM ANTWERP—The Turnbull Coal and Shipping Company’s cargo steamer Raisdale arrived in the stream at 2 a.m. yesterday from Antwerp. She later berthed at King’s Wharf. The vessel has a cargo of basic slag, and after discharging the local portion, will proceed to New Plymouth to complete-and from there to Westport for bunkers. The Raisdale enjoyed good weather until about 400 miles from New Zealand, when she encountered the violent gales and seas that have been prevalent. She had two days of exceptionally bad conditions, with high following seas. Everything on deck was well lashed down. Capt. Granger commands the Raisdale, and he has the following officers with him: Chief officer, Mr. Owen; second, Mr. Gough; third. Mr. Halley; chief engineer, Mr. Anderson: wireless operator, Mr. Spencer; chief steward, Mr. Mill.

Spedding. Ltd., is the local agent. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel for New Plymouth on Thursday next. Her next assignment will very probably be orf the phosphate run.

RUAPEHU AT WELLINGTON. —An arrival in the stream at Wellington early tlus morning- was the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu, with passengers, mails and cargo from Southampton and London. She is to complete discharge at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Auckland and New Plymouth. ROTORUA SAILED. —A departure from Auckland this morning was the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua. for Tokomaru Bay. Gisborne, Lyttelton and Wellington, to complete loading for Southampton and London. She leaves the capital on May 29, and will go via the Panama route. WESTMORELAND REPORTED.—According to a cable message. l'eceived by the Federal Company, the Westmoreland arrived at Panama last Friday from Port Chalmers, and left Colon on the same day for London, Avonraouth, Glasgow and Liverpool. She sailed from Port Chalmers on April 19. KARAMEA’S ITINERARY. —The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company advises that the Karamea arrived at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on Tuesday from the Wanganui roadstead. The vessel will leave Lyttelton on Saturday for Napier, Wanganui and Wellington. She is now due at AVellington on May 26, and will sail finally from that port on May 29 for Southampton, Rotterdam and London, via Panama. TAMAROA AT LYTTELTON. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's liner .Tamaroa arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from Wellington. The vessel commences loading at the Canterbury port and later fills up at Napier and Wellington. She is scheduled to sail finallv from Wellington on June 9 for Southampton and London via Panama. STEAMER ORETI TO BE SOLD. The small steamer Oreti is to be sold by auction, under instructions from the Admiralty Marshal, at Dunedin, on May 24. The vessel was formerly named the Baden Powell, and she was built at Nambuc-ea River, New South Wales, in 1900. She is a wooden vessel, and is fitted with engines of 90 i.h.p. She is 110.2 ft. in length, with a 26.1 ft. breadth and a depth of 7.Sit Iler tonnage is 174 gross,- and her speed is eight knots. C.
