COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea arrived at Gisborne at 5.30 a.m. today. Weather conditions have prevented her from berthing as yet. The Kaitangata is to sail on Saturday for Portland, where she loads for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Waipiata left Dunedin at 5 p.m. yesterday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Auckland. The Kaiwarra is due at Westport this evening, and is expected to sail on Saturday for Auckland. The Kaituna has been delayed at Wellington by heavy rain. She will probably not leave before tomorrow for , Lyttelton and Auckland. The Wingfitui is to be dispatched at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Union Company’s steamer. Kaiapoi, is to move from Prince’s Wharf tomorrow morning to the stream to be laid up. H.M.S. Diomede is to anchor in the stream tomorrow morning. The Melanesian Mission steamer, Southern Cross, is to be docked at Calliope shortly to have her hull cleaned and painted. The Coronation is due at Auckland today from Awanui. The Torea sails at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Taniwha is to be dispatched at 4 o'clock this afternoon for Paeroa. She is due back again at 9.30 p.m. tomorrow. The Claymore, which was to have left this afternoon for Whangarei, returns again at 3.30 a.m. on Saturday. The Omana was to be dispatched at 3 p.m. today for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana.. The Rangitoto, which arrived at Auckland this afternoon from Thames, sails again at S o’clock tomorrow* morning for Coromandel. The Hauiti was to have arrived at 2 p.in. today from Kopu and Turua. She is to be dispatched again at 5.30 a.m. tomorrow for Kerepeehi. The Kawau arrives at S o'clock this evening from Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. She leaves again at 6 p.m. tomorrow for Waiwera, Maliurangi and Warkworth. "The Ngapuhi is due at Auckland at 9 o’clock tomorrow morning from Russell, Opua, Whan gar oa and Mangonui. She sails again at 4 p.m. on Monday next for the same ports. The Ronaki is due at Auckland at 19 a.m. tomorrow from Tauranga. She sails at noon on Saturday on the return trip. The Apanui is due at Auckland at noon tomorrow from Parenga and way ports. She sails again at midnight the same night for the Great Barrier.
