SYSTEMS COMPARED Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Tlio Farmers’ Union executive today discussed the fiscal question and th*' need of revision. The general attitude was that it was too big a subject, and eventually it was decided to confer with the Ministers of the various departments concerned. Disappointment that the rural credits system was not taking the place of the advances to settlers system was expressed by the president, Mr. W. J. Poison. The union. he said. wa stronglv in favour of the rural advances system. State advances were advances made from money borrowed by the Government. Under the rural advances system the finance was obtained through the sale of bonds issued by the Treasury upon the security of pledged lands of the Dominion.
