PORT CURTIS AT MONTEVIDEO. En route from New Zealand to London the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Curtis is reported to have reached Montevideo last Sunday. She sailed from Wellington on April 20. NIAGARA NEARS SUVA.—Due at Suva on Friday from Vancouver and way ports, the Union Company's R.AI.S. Niagara is expected to arrive at Auckland next Alonday. The vessel is announced to sail again at 4 p.m. next Tuesday for Sydney. MARAMA AT SYDNEY.—CabIe advice states that the Marama arrived at Sydned at midnight last night fi*om Auckland. She loaves the New South AVales port at 3 p.m. on Friday for Wellington, where she is due next Tuesday. ROTORUA TO COMPLETE.—Leaving Auckland this afternoon for Tokomaru Bay. thence Gisborne,- Lyttelton and Wellington. the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua completes loading at these ports, and finally departs from the latter port on May 29 for Southampton and London via Panama. PORT DARWIN SAILING.—The C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Darwin was unable to finish hex* loading at Auckland last evening, consequently her departure for New York, Boston, Halifax and London was postponed until today. MAUNGANUI FOR AUCKLAND:— The Maunganui, which arrived at Sydney yesterday morning from Wellington, leaves at 3 p.m. on Friday for Auckland, and is due here next Tuesday morning. TOFUA RETURNS.—The Union Company's Island passenger steamer Tofua returned to Auckland shortly after noon yesterday from the Western Pacific Islands and later berthed at the Queen’s AVharf. Fair to moderate weather was experienced until last Saturday night, when she fan into a south-easterly gale with mountainous seas. ULI MAROA’S STORMY TRlP.—Early this morning the Huddart-Parker's intercolonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa arrived in the stream at Auckland from Sydney, and later berthed at the Central AVharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel left Sydney shortly after noon on Friday last and experienced moderate weather until Monday evening when she ran into a hard south-easterly gale and mountainous seas which lasted until she reached Tiri this morning. During the blow the vessel's speed was reduced, but, nevertheless, big seas swept across the Ulimaroa. Practically no damage was done to the vessel. The following passengers arrived by the ULi-
