PICTURES AT HOBSONVILLE
An excellent picture programme w?ll be shown at the Hobsonville Hall this evening, headed by “Wings,” the great epic of aerial warfare. The story is unusually interesting, and the whole production has been made on a gigantic scale. Clara Bow, Richard Arlen and Charles Rogers have the leading roles. “WHAT A NIGHT’’ AT BRITANNIA A breezy comedy-drama starring the indefatigable Bebe Daniels, will be shown at the Britannia Theatre this evening in “What a N'ight,” a story of American newspaper life. Bebe has the role of a very junior and inexperienced reporter, who is commissioned to investigate charges of political bribery. She finds out sufficient to enable the paper to publish an attack, but, unfortunately, does not secure the documentary evidence. Xeil Hamilton has the role of a rival reporter. with whom she falls in love. • Riley the Cop,” the second feature, is an amusing burlesque of American police methods, set in a background of New York and Berlin. T.ouise Fazenda and Farrell McDonald are the stars.
