RUGBY PLAYERS NOMINATED Press Association INVERCARGILL, Tuesdaj. The following Southland players have been nominated for inclusion in the North v South Island Rugby trial match at Wellington on June 3: B. Geddes (wing three-quarter), B. McEwan (wing-forward), R. M. Bird (forward). S. Batcheler (lock). J. It. Bell and A. W. Holden were not available. Geddes is a son of the selector and is a dashing wing three-quarter. He is the Otago and Southland sprint champion, lie competed in the national championships, running third to Elliott, of Auckland, in the 100yds event.
