TWO MONTHS’ FLIGHT FROM BRITAIN GREAT WELCOME AT AMOY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11 a.m. SHANGHAI, Monday. Captain Chen Wen-Lin arrived at Amoy, ’after piloting an Avro-Avian two-engined airplane from England, A tumultuous welcome was accorded the aviator on the occasion of the greatest long-distance flight in Chinese history. The flight from Croydon occupied two months.
