TIVOLI AND EVERYBODY’S
“WEEK-END COMEDY” Patrons of the Tivoli and Everybody's Theatres are being given a treat in picture entertainment this week. The feature is the new British International picture, “Week-End Comedy,” starring Monty Banks. The story is of a bright nature, the theme surrounding the matrimonial mix-ups of two young couples. It is some time since pieturegoers last saw Monty Banks on the screen, that versatile comedian then appearing in American pictures. Since that time the star has signed a contract with British International Pictures, “WeekEnd Comedy” being the first of his British productions to be released in New .Zealand. . In this picture he even excels his past appearances. He is supported by an excellent collection of wellknown players, including Jameson Thomas. , . The second attraction at botli theatres is entitled “Honeymoon Flats, an amusing comedy of newly-weds, which decides which is the bigger battle, husband versus wife or son-in-law versus mother-in-law. The leading roles are taken by Dorothy Gulliver and George Lewis, the two stars of the ever-popular “Collegians series.
