LOAN CARRIED AT GREYMOUTH Press Association GREYMOUTH, Wednesday. A poll was taken to-day in the Grey Power Board district on a proposal to install a hydro system at Arnold River to generate 2*500 kilowatts at a cost of £IIB,OOO, in order to replace the present steam installation of 1,000 kilowatts at Dobson. The proposal was carried the voting being:—For, 707; against, 373; and informal, 9. The necessary threefifths majority was obtained.
