WELLINGTON SUPREME COURT Press AssociatioJi WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Prisoners sentenced by Mr. Justice MacGregor to-day were: Christey Linehan, two charges of forgery and uttering, IS months’ imprisonment with hard labour. John Frederick Byrnand. two charges of breaking and entering and theft, three years’ imprisonment on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent. John Pittar, carnal knowledge, convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon within two years. Robert Campbell and Edwin John McNab. attempted breaking and entering. detention in a Borstal institute for two years. Douglas Arthur Burnett. nine charges of stealing postal packets while employed as a postal officer, ordered two years’ detention in a Borstal institution.
