EXHIBITION COMMITTEE

ONLY TWO DISTRICT COURTS A meeting of the Auckand Winter Exhibition Committee took place yesterday. There was a good attendance of members. Correspondence was received from the Auckland Harbour Board, the Auckland Electric-Power Board, the poverty Bay Winter Show Association, the Wellington Show Association, the Taumarunui Winter Show Association, and Wright and Jaciues, Ltd. The president stated that he had attended, with Mr. S. Hamlin and the secretary, a meeting of the Franklin District Court Committee at PukeItuhe. He had stated he would recommend that a grant of £75 be made lor the Franklin district court for this year. It wa resolved to confirm the recommendation for the 1929 Winter The letter from the Poverty Bay Winter Show Association asking for an increased grant was referred to the Finan f Committee for report. It was resolved that the district courts should be limited to two, and that the matter of working exhibits, cattle exhibition. Kennel Club show and poultry show be left to the Space Committee for immediate report. Mr. B. Buttle was appointed honorary treasurer for the ensuing year. The following committees were elected:

Stratford, W. D. Munn. The president and vice-president are ex-officio members of all committees. __
