“ALIAS BISHAW”
MAORI ON THEFT CHARGE Bisliaw and Hawaiian guitars—Joe Tainui knows these names. When he was charged in the Polite Court this morning with stealing a guitar worth £3. Taiuni had the name “Bishaw” as an alias. The offence was stated to have taken place at Waimate North on February 1. and a native, Kemi Tari, was the man who suffered the loss. A remand to Kaikohe until April 24 was granted.
