WELLINGTON RETURNS FOR YEAR Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. Building permits Issued at Wellington for the year were valued at £1,834,588, which is somewhat lower than for any of the previous three years, but is still ahead of any other city. Of the total, more than half was in thp suburbs. It is considered the war shortage has now been overtaken, and estate agents say that building operations are being curtailed.
