HIS MAJESTY’S THIS EVENING At His Majesty’s Theatre this evening, L. J. uarron will present fcjir Hurry Lauder, the world’s greatest entertainer, and Ins new company ol international vaudeville artists. The unexpectedness of this visit adds to the pleasure in store for seekers of genuine entertainment, and to-night Sir Harry will regaie them with entirely new offerings m song, character sketch and story, wnich he presented during a record London season just prior to nis leaving for New Zealand. In addition to his new numbers he win mciuae as many ot tne o.u xuvourites which have, through the management, been requested, and everything will be presented in his own inimitable way. Sir Harry has been aptly described as “ever new,” and that sums up the position, tie is assured of a great reception when he makes his initial bow in His Majesty’s. Exceptional support will be afforded Sir Harry by the company of artists selected by E. J. Carroll, each, member being an artist of International repute and fame. The supporting company is as follows: “Tiki” Carpenter, the surprise packet, direct from a wonderful London season in a novel and artistic presentation; Miss Beryl Wentworth, who comes with a fine reputation as a singer of catchy chorus songs that should be popular with any audience; Rupert Hazel and Elsie Day, the harmonylarity duo, feature mirth and melody in an original presentation; the Fredo Bros., comedy acrobatic violinists, are from the Orpheum Circuit, U.S.A., and are as dexterous as they are daring. From the principal European variety theatres comes Don Julian, cartoonist and lightning sketch artist. with a fund of clever patter in which his quaint English induces additional laughter. Haydn Beck, the distinguished musician. is conductor of a specially selected orchestra. The box plans are on view at Lewis Eady. Ltd., and intending patrons would be wise to reserve their esats and so avoid disappointment.
