OLD MAN INJURED
FALL FROM STEP OF TRAM Slipping as he was getting off a tramcar at the corner of Burnley Ter race, Edendale, last evening, Mr. Alexander McGregor, aged 78, fell on to the road, receiving a cut on the head and concussion of the brain. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance and his condition last evening was fairly serious. This morning, however, he was reported to be improving satisfactorily. Mr. McGregor lives at 267 New North Road.
