STOLE TYPEWRITER
LABOURER’S OFFENCE MORE INVESTIGATION According to the police, William Tuple, alias Cupell. took a typewriter from the Blind Institute and pawned Caple, a 49-year-old labourer, stood in the Police Court this morning to face a charge of stealing from Lionel Boyce, on April 15, a typewriter valued at £ls. _ , In a scarcely audible voice, Caplo pleaded guilty. Detective-Sergeant Kelly. In asking for a remand until Friday, said that Caple was charged with taking the machine from the Blind Institute. There was the question of another typewriter to be investigated. * Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., granted the remand.
