SEASON’S DRAW TO-NIGHT
TROPHY FOR SENIOR B GRADE The Senior Division Committee of the A.F.A. will meet this evening to arrange the draw for the coming season's championships. The teams in the “A” division are Thistle, Tramways, Ponsonby. Shore. Y.M.CA, mont* Onehunga and Celtic. The £> division will be composed of Don Accord, Northcote-Birkenhead., Manurewa, Tamaki, Newmarket, Corinthians, Metropolitan, Rangers Philomel, but another club may be admitted to avoid a bye each week. The other grades have all some imposing trophies for competition, and it is learned that a very handsome cup has been offered by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. FLOODLIGHT TOURNEY Sixteen seven-a-side teams have entered for the night tournament by artificial light at Blandford Park on Wednesday evening, and most of the prominent club players are taking this opportunity of getting in a final working gallop before the competitions start on Saturday next. The loss of practice on Saturday was a keen disappointment, but the searching nature of the seven-a-side game will make amends on Wednesday night.
