ACCIDENTS IN PARIS Figures issued by the Paris PrefecI ture of Police show that 58 per cent. , of fatal or serious accidents to pedesj trians are caused through the pedes- * trians’ own fault, and only 42 per cent, ~ through the error of mpjtor drivers. r ■ It 13 also shown that only 50 per ! cent, of the accidents in which taxi- ' | cabs are involved are due to faults on the part of the chauffeurs, while of the accideftts caused by tramway-cars none is due to the fault of the motor--2-j men.
