An interesting and picturesque wedding took place at St. Sepulchre’s Church on Wednesday evening at six o’clock. when Ethel Constance, youngest daughter of Air. and Airs. A. E. Holland, of 4 Richmond Hill, Grey j Lynn, was married to Cecil Roy John | Aliller, only son of Air. and Airs. John i Aliller. of 51 Khyber Pass Road. The Rev. Gordon Bell performed the ceremony. The church was prettily decorated • by friends of the bride, having a large i wedding bell suspended over the bridal i party, with white ribbons hanging from the front and clown the sides to form jan arch. Bowls filled with blue hydrangeas and pink madonna lilies i were placed along the rails of the altar j with pink dahlias, chrysanthemums ] and blue larkspur. The bride, who was given away bv her father, wore a gown of ivory satin beaut© draped to one side with a large pale pink satin bow. The opposite side was caught with a diamante buckle, and the gown had a long fishtail train with two silver tassels at the edge. A spray of orange blossom and silver leaves was placed on the left shoulder. Her long filmy tulle veil , was arranged with a capette of fine | Mlk lace and a wreath of orange blosj som. The skirts had taffeta picot edged frills on the net skirts and tight-fitting taffeta bodices with pink and silver shoulder rose sprats. Their large picture hats were of pink silk tulle with a pink and silver rose under each brim. Dainty shower bouquets of pink dahlias and delphiniums and madonna lilies with tulle and silver ribbons were carried. Little Zoe Aliller was flower girl and ware a frock of alice blue taffeta with a tight-fitting bodice and a bouffant skirt of tulle with a large taffeta bow on the side and a dainty blue posy on the left shoulder. Her picture hat was of blue tulle with a large blue and silver rose under the brim and ribbon ends. She carried a blue basket of pink dahlias and blue delphinium, with a pink tulle bow. Air. Alex. Ridgeway was the best man and Air. Stanley Bowden the groomsman. Tables decorated with pink and blue blooms were arranged for over 200 guests at the reception at tlie Domain Kiosk. Walter Brown, orchid toned jersey chenille and deeper shaded hat. Mrs. C. Thompson, apricot crepe de chine and hat to tone. Airs. John Thompson, black marocain and black hat. Aliss Raye Brewin, white chenille and white net. Aliss Beryl Brewin, pink silk georgette and net. Aliss Noli Brewin, blue crepe de chine and hat to tone. Aliss Hazel Jeffers, apple green crepe de chine and hat to tone. Aiiss Percy, flesh chiffon embroidered in gold and* black picture hat. ■ Aliss Alice Connot, apple green georgette, embroidered in gold and white, fur coat. , Mrs. J. Warnock, black georgette and hat to tone.

McADAM—FARQUHAR

St. Andrew’s Church was the scene j of a Quiet wedding on Friday evening, i when Vera, the second daughter of Mrs. E. Farquhar, of Mount Eden, was married by the Rev. I. Bertram to Alexander, the youngest son of Mr. and Airs. Me Adam. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Air. A. J. Farquhar, wore a pretty gown of lobelia blue embossed chenille georgette and a hat of felt in the same blue tone, cut in the crown to show an underlay of gold tissue, which also edged the brim, rihe carried a bouquet of gold flowers. Her sister, Mrs. A. Hale, attended her as matron-of-honour, wearing an attractive frock of gold lace, made with a graceful bolero bodice and a drape of lace falling at one side of the back. A medici collar of lace and a bronze shoulder flower were daintv finishing touches. With it she wore a brown felt hat with gold and brown relief and carried a bouquet. The bridegroom was attended by Air. Percy Totman as best man. Afterwards a reception was held at Wvnyard Street, where white dahlias and golden flowers made effective decoration. Airs. Farquhar, mother of the bride, wore a gown of black taffeta embroidered in pastel shades, and a black coat and hat. Airs. Ale Adam, mother of the bridegroom. was in a black georgette frock and a black coat and hat. I Miss 13. Farquhar was wearing a j cyclamen pink frock of crepe de chine i and a wrap and hat to tone.
