NEW ELSTREE PICTURE STARS LYA DE PUTTI, HUGARIAN PHOTOPLAYER
Lya de Putti, the Hungarian star of “Variety’* and other outstanding German productions, has arrived in London from the United States for a stay of six months. She will act in an English picture, “The Informer,” to be made at Elstree. “I have always wanted to visit your country,” she told an interviewer. “I Have never met Englishmen before, except on the boat coming over, and I think they are the most delightful people I have ever associated with. All my spare time will be taken up in visiting historic London.”
