CARPENTER WARNED
MUST MAKE PAYMENTS Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. A warning that he might expect I term of imprisonment if he did not comply with the order of the court was given by Mr. Justice Ostler today to Henry Gastein, a carpenter, who was brought before the Supreme Court for contempt of court in t*'-" ing to make weekly payments of -- 10s toward the reduction of £JM |W to creditors, as required by the prdemade by Mr. Justice MacGregor h February last. Gastein admitted he had made £«' in wages over the period of eigh weeks ending last month. With t® he had paid for board and lodging and clothes, and had paid part ot * dentist’s account. He had about ~ ,J or £6 in hand at present, but out of work. He did not realise ti* payments under the order should made before anything else. He asbeen unable to make headway.
