WELCOMING ARRANGEMENTS A reception to Mr. Arthur Hirst, F.R.S.A., the world-renowned pianistlecturer, is to be held at the Lewis Eady Hall next Monday evening. Dr. S. Kenneth Phillips will be in the chair. A meeting representative of Auckland’s most prominent musicians and music-lovers will be assured. Mr. Hirst has a wonderful story to tell. He has had most enthusiastic reception in the South during his short visit to New Zealand. He will be heard over the air in a short address on Sunday evening, and in a short Rotarian luncheon talk on Monday. His «only public recital will be on Tuesday evening, in the Town Hall Concert Chamber.
