The purport of the By-law is to revoke Section 223 Subsection (5) of By-law No. 1, 1926, and enact a new subsection governing the granting of licences to keep poultry, giving the Council power to impose such conditions and restrictions as it may think proper, and power to cancel a licence if conditions are not complied with or if the keeping of the poultry is in the opinion of the Council likely to become a nuisance.
