200 PILGRIMS DROWNED BOATS CAPSIZE IN PANIC (Australian and N.Z. Press Association} (United Service} Reed. Noon. DELHI, Tuesday. During a big religious fair ax Saugor, at the mouth of the Hooghly, 200 were lost when 12 boat-loads of 700 pilgrims capsized in a rough sea while crossing the river mouth. The disaster was caused by the pilgrims becoming panic-stricken and crossing from one side of the boats to the other.
