QUEEN OLGA FROM JAVA. —The steamer Queen Olga, 4,242 tons, has been chartered to load sugar at Java, for Auckland. She is expected to leave Tjilatjap for Auckland shortly. PLUME FROM SAN FRANCISCO. — The Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume is reported to have left San Francisco last Friday with a full cargo of bulk oil for New Zealand. TAHITI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. — The Royal Mail liner Tahiti arrived at Wellington this morning with passengers, mail and cargo from San Francisco, Papeete and Rarotonga. She is to resume her voyage to Sydney to-morrow afternoon. AUXILIARY SCHOONER Plßl. —After loading a part cargo of timber at King’s Wharf, the Nobel auxiliary schooner Piri is to sail to-day with explosives for New Plymouth and Greymouth. At Greymouth the schooner will complete loading with timber for Hobart. TURAKINA CLEARED HALIFAX.— The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turakina, which left Auckland for New York, Halifax, London, Avonmoutli, Glasgow and Liverpool on November 30, is reported to have cleared Halifax last Friday. REMUERA SAILS TO-MORROW.— The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Remuera leaves Auckland at 4 p.m. tomorrow' for Napier, thence Lyttelton and Wellington, to fill up for Home. She is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on February 3 for Southampton and London, via Panama. TOFUA CLEARS APlA. —Advice* received by the local office of the Union Company states that the Island passenger steamer Tofua left Apia, Samoa, at 3 p.m. last Friday for Suva and Auckland. She is to clear the Fijian port at 4 p.m. on Thursday and is due here next Monday. MELBOURNE PASSENGER SERVICE. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Manuka, with passengers, cargo and a large quantity of mail from Melbourne, arrived at Wellington this morning. She is to leave Wellington to-morrow afternoon for Melbourne, via Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. PORT ADELAIDE GROUNDED.—Advice received at Sydney states that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Adelaide, loaded with wool and general cargo from Australia, grounded at Antwerp. No serious damage resulted and the vessel was refloated with assistance. RUAPEHU TO LOAD.— The New Zealand Shipping Company reports that its liner Ruapehu, at present at New Plymouth, will leave there on Wednesday afternoon to -load at Nelson, Auckland, Lyttelton and Wellington. She 'is due here on January 19, and will sail finallv from Wellington on January 31 for Southampton and London, via the Panama route. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. —Due in the stream at Auckland to-morrow morning from Sydney, the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Marama later berths at the Queen’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel is scheduled to leave here at 3 p.m. next Friday on her return trip to Sydney. TREKIEVE REPORTS. —According to a radio message received by the local office of .the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Hain Line steamer Trekieve, which is under charter to the A. and A. Line, is expected to arrive, at Auckland on Wednesday morning from New York. The vessel is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. CORINTHIC REPORTS— The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic. which was scheduled to reach Wellington from London and Southampton to-day, reports bv wireless that she will not arrive until daybreak on Thursday. The vessel has passengers and mail for New Zealand and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She should reach Auckland about January 24. A. S. Patron and Co., Ltd., are the local agents.
