RISKING OTHERS’ LIVES
SWIMMERS AND POTENTIAL RESCUERS (Special to THE SUNJ DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Two swimmers set out recently to swim from the St. Clair Beach to the caves, said the president of the Otago Swimming Centre, Mr. Mclndoe, last evening. Had they got into difficulties the members of the life-saving team would have been placed in more than ordinary danger. He thought a protest necessary when people risked not only their own lives, but possibly the lives of others. The centre carried a motion censuring the two swimmers concerned.
