MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED
THROWN ON ROADWAY rrcss Association DUNEDIN. Wednesday. While riding a motor-cycle from Palmerston to Dunedin this afternoon Henry Percival Whyborn, farm labourer, aged 21, was thrown heavily from his machine. He was picked up unconscious and taken to the Dunedin Hospital, where he was found to be suffering from severe head injuries. Tie died this evening. Deceased s parents live in Salisbury Street, Kaikorai.
INJURED YOUTH’S DEATH CAR CAPSIZES INTO SWAMP Press Association PALMERSTON X., Wednesday. The death occurred in hospital this afternoon of Oliver Anderson, aged 18 years, who was admitted yesterday as the result of injuries he received when a motor-car in which he was travelling capsized into a swamp near Sanson. The car was struck from behind by another car, which caused it to capsize. The other occupants of the vehicle were uninjured. Deceased was a resident of Foxton.
THROWN FROM CAR MARRIED WOMAN’S DEATH Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. Mrs. Anabelle Hughes, aged 52, wife of Mr. William Hughes, a storeman, was killed in a motor accident tonight. The car left the road and plunged into a ditch. Mrs. Hughes being thrown out on her head. She was dead when a doctor arrived. Xone of the other passengers was injured.
