DOUBLE DROWNING
Reed. 10.14 a.m. MELBOURNE. To-day A drowning tragedy occurred in a dam at Bendigo, when two schoolboys, Leslie Sheard, aged 13, and Horace McKenna, aged 9, lost their lives. The younger boy climbed upon Sheard’s back. Both sank and did not rise again.
